1. The Commission Process

  • Artist Autonomy: Every piece is an original creation by the artist Milla Rhode. By placing an order, you acknowledge and trust the artist's unique style, creative interpretation, and execution.

  • Personalization Details: You agree to provide the correct name or dedication required for the back of the artwork at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for typos or spelling errors provided by the customer.

2. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • Physical vs. Intellectual Property: When you purchase a piece from Milla Rhode, you are buying the physical artwork only.

  • Copyright Retention: Milla Rhode retains full copyright and all intellectual property rights over the design and artwork. The artist reserves the right to use images of the piece for promotional purposes, portfolios, social media, or future art prints.

  • Prohibited Use: You may not scan, replicate, digitally modify, mass-produce, or use the artwork for any commercial purposes (such as branding, logos, or reselling prints) without explicit, written legal consent from Milla Rhode.

3. Payment & Finality

  • Upfront Payment: Full payment is required via our secure checkout before the creation of your custom piece begins.

  • No Cancellations: Because time and materials are dedicated immediately to your custom piece, orders cannot be canceled or modified once payment is processed.

4. Shipping & Import Duties

  • Delivery Timelines: Estimated creation and shipping windows are guidelines, not strict guarantees. Original art takes time to prepare, package, and ship safely.

  • Customs and Taxes: For international shipments, the buyer is entirely responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or local taxes levied by their destination country.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any legal disputes arising from your purchase will be handled within this jurisdiction.
